Lots of thoughts going on at the moment. I thought would be helpful to sum up what is happening at this end and see where you are in your journey with your pup

Vaccinations, Flea , Worming and Microchip – all done on the 27th by the Breeder and local vets. He was such a good boy . Have huge admiration for his human Granma for managing 11 pups in a vets. Lots of wriggling and loads of support from vet staff. I can only guess that all work at the vets stopped unless emergency as everyone had to come into help

Water experience – all puppies have had their first fun experience of paddling pools , watering can sprinkling as pretend rain and also the option of standing under a shower. Our little boy loves water so hey we have some fun ahead

Familiar- with different surfaces- the joy of having a pup at this time of year is they get used to indoor and outdoor surfaces to encourage wees and poos outside on grass. Our pup is confident on grass and confident.

Play – happy little chap and we have witnessed video moments of play with siblings and mum. So lovely to see. Enjoys picking up and having a chew on toys.

Follow up vaccination – we are booking up for a months time

Food – so starter food will be provided when we collect little man. We have stock in order to gradually change over to the food he will be eating when living with us

Insurance – the breeder has set up insurance for 5 weeks from joining us – so gives us time to finally decide who to insure with

Comfort – little pup is joining us with a toy that smells of the family and also some bedding. This will really help with settling in here.

Sleeping – well we have a crate as i previously mentioned and lovely bedding for him. I will sleep down with him initially along with the other dogs. Our home life set up means that our dogs cannot sleep with us as my husband is not well enough to cope with dogs bouncing on him … should they do so in the morning..

Exercise – we will provide him with garden adventures .Until the second vaccination completed with a weeks gap we will not be out and about walking him. Then his exercise for road walking will be 5 mins per month of the year

Socialising – being careful here as so easily misunderstood. We want our little chap to be comfortable around other dogs and as a large breed avoid the bombing behaviours that can develop with excitement with doggie pals. We are lucky as we have some of the litter living near to us and are going to have regular meet and greets. Also a chum has a puppy so will be meeting up with them. Then there is puppy class https://nutleydogs.co.uk/puppy-classes-2/ and we are booked into a games based training class and also going to another class too . This is the beginning of our training journey – it doesn`t stop with puppy class

Toys – well these dogs like their soft toys as well as dummie like toys so we have loads of them for looking happy with.

So now to enjoying the photos as they come through and waiting till next week before little chap arrives

Look forward to hearing your news on your puppy
